Allegheny CleanWays is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works with communities and businesses in Pennsylvania’s Allegheny County to clean up illegal dumping and litter. Since its inception in 2000, the organization has removed more than seven million pounds of trash, including more than 50,000 tires, from green spaces, waterways and pedestrian infrastructure. In addition to conducting cleanups, Allegheny CleanWays also advocates for policies that reduce waste and educates the public on how waste enters our environment.
