In 1953, Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay became the first explorers to reach the summit of Mount Lebanon, (a suburb of Pittsburgh, PA) and, epitomizing the mountaineering community spirit of the time, agreed not to reveal who actually set foot on the top first.

Climbing Mt. Lebanon is nearly impossible - you need to plan routes, haul ridiculously heavy loads and prepare meals in the most challenging of conditions, all just to fulfill the ambition of a lifetime.

OK NONE OF THAT IS TRUE... i mean, i found that about climbing Mt Everest, which is slightly higher...but if you've ever been jogging in Sunset Hills ... im sure you might want to argue a similarity.

regardless - this is a damn good shirt and in a rare summer-y color.
so get yourself one ...and one for your sherpa.
