PoetTree Tee Co. is the brainchild of Tera McIntosh, and the creativity designs of Mike Miller, along with some other late night coffee drinking forward thinkers (and volunteers) like Emily Reincheld. So what exactly do we do? Simple. Tera's been traveling the country for the past year and a half, while using writing and hiking as an outlet for healing in her travel blog. During this time, she fell in love with many parks, both local and national. Being a local and national slam poet herself, she decided to combine her love for the two. Poetry and Parks. Our tee's are a series of shirts dedicated to local and national parks, from Ohio's Hocking Hills, to Pittsburgh's Schenley Park, to The Great Smoky Mountain National Park, to Lake Tahoe's crisp Emerald Bay! But that's not all friends! Each Tee comes decorated with a quote to match the design from local and national poets around the world. And here's the kicker: the profits go right back to funding the featured park and poet of the tee that you purchase. We find it important to give back to these two areas (arts and parks) as they are no doubt currently underfunded and extremely under acknowledged. That's right, we are all about doing good, for the beauty of art and nature, both locally and nationally. So stop on over to support the two things we love so hard. Grab a shirt for friend and continue to share our story. Be sure to tag us on your adventures wearing our tee and you'll be entered in a quarterly raffle to win a free one. Who doesn’t love a free tee?
Oh Yoi, one more thing friends----are you a poet who has a quote you want to be featured, or do you want to share a park you'd like to see honored? Shoot us an email at
